ALTERNATIVE ROCK FROM BERLIN
“Our name refers to the sound experience – our music aims to crush you with a wave of emotion” says Dean, vocalist and guitarist of TIDALWAVE. Since relocating to Germany from the United States last year, the band spent the year playing some of the best rock venues and festivals in Germany, and sharing the stage with international touring bands such as California’s Black Map andRoadrunner Records‘ Wild Throne, earning them a reputation for electrifying live shows.
It is therefore no coincidence that TIDALWAVE was chosen by Visions’ magazine as “ones to watch in 2016”. Title track “1992” is an alternative rock anthem, having reached over 100,000 views on Youtube alone. Not bad for a band that only kickstarted their career last year with a promising debut, having been played on the radio in over 200 countries and growing. “1992” was mixed by US producer Jamie King (Between the Buried and Me) For fans of Chevelle, Silverchair and Deftones.
